Our mission at Crescent City Psychiatric is to continuously strive to empower our clients to reach their full potential not just mentally, but physically and spiritually. We believe that adversity is part of all our lives, and it is our mission to help others discover how to perceive the world we live in a more positive light. We believe that we all can experience true inner peace and happiness, despite the adversities that may have occurred in our lives.
We facilitate this empowerment with our patients through trust, empathy, and compassion. As providers, we believe we cannot fully do our jobs and inspire others unless we maintain our own balance between our profession, our relationships and ourselves.
When at the office, we provide professional knowledge and insight to our patients through our own experiences and education. When away from the office, we strive to be the best friend, spouse, or parent that we know how to be. But to properly care for our patients and loved ones, we must also care for ourselves. We believe this is accomplished through a combination of daily reflection, exercise, engaging in personal hobbies or interests, setting personal goals, learning something new, and proper sleep and nutrition.
By doing our best to maintain balance between these domains, we can better understand our patients’ way of life. We can then provide our patients with the proper guidance on how to find their own balance between their career, relationships, and their selves.
Quite simply, to fulfill our mission at Crescent City Psychiatric, we must practice what we preach. Evaluating and treating patients with chronic and acute mental health symptoms is what we do. Developing individualized treatment plans for our patients through medication management and supportive counseling is how we do it. Inspiring our patients to reach their full potential, so that they can inspire others to do the same —this is why Crescent City Psychiatric was founded.
